6233 worked RTC's 'The Royal Scot' over Shap today. Originally to be operated by EWS but was switched to West Coast at the eleventh hour. This meant that a water tanker would be required at Carlisle. While EWS have their own facilities to hand at Upperby, West Coast Railways are not welcome to use these and therefore have to make other arrangements. A Duncan Hill tanker was dispatched at short notice to do the honours.
